When I open a new document in Word the cursor is always in the middle of the
page. I start typing and the text goes up to the top of the page. How do I
make the cursor to appear at the top of the page in new document?
I uninstalled Office, retart and reinstal and the same thing happen.
This only happen in new document, if I use a template the cursor is at the
top of the page. How do I fix this?

Make sure that the vertical alignment (Layout tab of Page Setup) is set to
Top and not Center or Justified. In Word 2007, you can access the Page Setup
dialog by double-clicking the ruler (as in previous versions) or by clicking
the dialog launcher in the Page Setup group of the Page Layout tab.

Go to File > Page Setup > Layout (in Word 2007, ) and change the Vertical
Alignment from Center to Top.

The next time you run into a problem, resist the urge to uninstall and reinstall
Office. It almost never does any good, because it doesn't remove the settings
and templates that cause almost all the problems.
