When customizing my new computer, if I was looking at cursors I could see
what the actual cursor looked like. I don't know if I accidently changed
something but now they all appear with the same icon in front of them. Hoew
can I change it back so I can see the cursor before actually selecting it?

Thanks.......

To change the appearance of your mouse pointer
Open Mouse Properties...
Start | Run | Type: control mouse | Click OK |
Pointers tab |
Do one or both of the following:
To change all of your pointers at one time, select a new scheme under
Scheme.
To change one pointer, select it in the Customize list. Click Browse, and
then double-click the name of the new pointer you want to use for that task.

[[A pointer scheme is any combination of pointers used on your desktop. You
can change any number of pointers and then save them as a new scheme by
clicking Save As under Scheme. The new scheme will appear in the list under
Scheme. ]]

Open Control Panel/Category View/Printers and Other Hardware/Mouse. There you
should be able to select your preferences. Good luck. Please let me know if
this provides you with a solution.

Thanks for replying... I know how to change the cursors. My problem is,
when I click the browse button to select a new one, I can see the cursor
names but not what they look like. When I first got this computer a week ago
when I opened this window I could see a tiny picture of what the actual
cursor looks like. Now I see the names but all of the pictures or icons are
identical. I think it has something to do with the file associations but I
don't know how to change it back so I can see the actual cursors to make it
easier to select one.

Thanks for any help you can give me.....
