cursor frozen

I am using Windows XP Professional. The desktop appears with all the icons
loaded and the mouse (cursor) is frozen in the middle of the screen. Nothing
that I do will un-freeze the cursor: safe mode, last known good
configuration, all the ctrl, alt, esc, tab, will do nothing. How does one
get the cursor to move/un-freeze?

Is this happening in Outlook or the Windows desktop? If Windows, then post to a Windows group for assistance. This is not a Windows group.

This has nothing to do with Outlook; either your mouse is not working
anymore, not properly connected, or the device driver has an error.

If you need more help, try one of the Windows newsgroups, e.g.
news://msnews.microsoft.com/microsoft.public.windowsxp.general
news://msnews.microsoft.com/microsoft.public.windowsxp.hardware

Hi, did you ever resolve this issue? (if so how?) I'm having the same problem
and it is related to my HP deskjet printer. Good luck.
