Currency Symbol Incorrect

I have an application that generates reports on XP pro without any
problems. On embedded XP the same reports produce a dollar sign
instead of a pound sign. The XPe target only has support for the UK
locale & I don't understand where the dollar sign is coming from. The
app uses crystal reports to generate the report so I am told.

Any Ideas ?

Were you the one who created the image? Do you have an ability to change and
re-deploy the image?

If not, you may want to contact device manufacturer about the issue.

If so, you can explore Locale info in registry and see if it has been setup
properly (including the dollar sign). You may use Regmon tool from
www.sysinternals.com to see what locale settings get accessed from the
Crystal Report app.
