CTRL+f1 does not work.

The keyboard shortcut for opening and closing the task pane (ctrl+f1) does
not work while you are in the Inbox or in any other folder. It works only
when the menu bar (File, Edit, etc) is hilighted. Why?
 
Use F1 to open it instead.
