ctrl+enter shorcut in address bar

Hi,

I recently bought a dell dimension 8300 computer and my IE
address bar doesn't respond when I use the CTRL+ENTER
shortcut to automatically add the www and .com to a URL.
It did on my old computer

Anybody know how to get that to work on my new computer?
