Ctrl Alt Shift keys display?

Using Home Premium, when I press Crtl, Alt or Shift, it shows me in
the middle of the screen what I pressed - can I switch that off?

this sounds more like the behavior of a third party application such as a
keyboard manager for a wireless keyboard, or a key mapping program offered
by a laptop mfg. ? maybe tell us what brand/model of computer you have and
if your using a wireless keyboard ?
