Hi, is there a file name where I can type in the start/run box to open
log-on window? For example, I can type Taskmgr in the run box to open task
manager, but what about the log-on box? I like to create a shortcut on the
desktop so I can single click to open it. Then, I would like open the
log-on (ctrl-alt-del) window, then click to lock the screen and keyboard
when I'm away from my desk.

Try this:
1. Right-click the Desktop and select New Shortcut.
2. Type %windir%\System32\rundll32.exe user32.dll,LockWorkStation in the
Location box.
3. Click Next.
4. In the Name box, give your shortcut a name.
5. Click Finish.

HTH,
Dave

Why not use the build-in lock from WinXP?
It is: Win-key + L

Excellent! Thank you.

Now, one more question, can you create a shortcut for the log-on window
itself? This is to give me the option to choose: change password, log-off,
etc.

Yup. The shortcut can be placed on, say, the Quick Launch and enables you to
lock with a click.
