ctrl-alt-del does not work

Hi all,
Sorry for the second post in this matter.
My ctrl-alt-del does not bring up the task manager window. crtl-shift-esc
does not work either.
Is there a setting somewhere to enable this?

ctrl-alt-del is NOT supposed to bring up the Task Manager window. But it does bring up a "window" which allows you to choose a button Task Manager

I'm confused .. you said in your previous post that CTRL SHIFT ESC
brought the Task Manager up?

Sorry for the confusion, (don't try to ask a kid to help you out by
following some simple instructions!!)
Anyway, no, taskmgr.exe did not come up. Said it couldn't find the file.

is there a way to install this file?
