Crystal Reports Help

Amos Soma

I tried asking this question on the Crystal site but with no luck. I have a
need to print a sales receipt from Crystal Reports to an Okidata ML 520 (dot
matrix) printer. I want the sales receipt to print in 'draft' mode (no
double-strike). Is there a specific font I should use to accomplish this?
Any regular font I use automatically puts the Okidata in NLQ (near letter
quality) mode and it double-strikes. I seem to recall, many years ago when I
had a need to do this, I used a font named 'Draft'. However, when I
installed the Okidata printer on my laptop, that font didn't appear.

Thanks for your help.

Hi Amos,

i'm sorry, but Crystal Report send the data only as graphic to a printer,
not as plain text.
An example for plain text with escape sequences:
