Crypting program ?

Hello
I need some free crypting program to secure my privite
files. In our company everybody uses the same account,
and securing by encoding gives me nothing ;( So I need
some crypting program which can protect my files by a
password. My co-workers aren't too advanced so the
program don't have to be extra safe just normal password
will be great. But program need to have a free lincence
for a commercial use because it's in the firm. If there
is some way to protect my files by password without any
external program , I would like to know how ? But it must
work on one account with a high privilages.
