Crossfading

I have the crossfading option turned on in Media Player
9, but after burning a CD with tracks from various
albums, the songs are NOT crossfading into each other.
What do I need to do to ensure that the recorded tracks
will crossfade?

Thanks.

(Yeah - WMP doesn't burn cross-faded tracks. It just uses cross-fading
during playback only.)
