Cross-references to figures and tables have line break on update f

Sorry for the convluted subject title.

I have a really annoying problem in that many of my cross-references to
figures and tables are put into a new paragraph (line break? Just like
someone pressed the return key in front of them anyway!) once the field is
updated! I can manually return them all (and there are a LOT) to their
original positions, but when I print or make the file into a PDF, all of the
fields are updated anyway, so the positions are reset!

Can anyone help me?

Thanks in advance!

Keith

The problem is most likely that your have pressed Return while the insertion
point was in the start of an already Ref-bookmarked paragraph - this results
in the new paragraph being included in the bookmark. See the demo below
Problem 3 at the following address for details and for information about how
to prevent the problem:

Thank you very much Lene!

I re-entered all of the troublesome cross-references and it was sorted out!

Thanks again!
