Critical Update Downloaded

Downloaded the Critical Update, now my computer won't
start Windows. Reaches the logo page, says it is starting
Windows, then shuts off and starts all over. Help! What
can I do?

Erase everything and use Linux.

Call Microsoft - support for problems connected with updates are apparently
free....

Otherwise, hold down F8 at startup and try to restart in fail-safe mode -
from there uninstall whatever upgrade you installed.
