Credits Scroll Up on Right with Video on Left Problem

Student in Crisis

I am having an issue with the title animation: credits scroll up on right
with video on left. I have the credits and I have the footage I want to use
but I cannot seem to combine the two together. On the left, where the footage
should be, is orange while on the right are the credits I want to use and
they are scrolling up.

How do I get video clips (I have several) playing with the credits running?

Help please as soon as possible.
Thank you.

Delete the credits segment. If you did a lot of typing and cringe at the
thought of having to type them in again, open Notepad, then back in MM
right click the credits clip in Title overlay, select Edit title... then select
each credit and copy and paste to Notepad then when adding back the
text simply do copy and paste from Notepad to MM.

Select the clip that you want to combine with the ending credits. If more
than one clip, select the first of them.

Now Use Tools and Titles and credits, select Add title on the selected clip
in the time line. Add credits, select animation (I believe you selected Credits:
Video left), configure font/color. Click on Done, Add title to movie.

Select title overlay just added, extend to cover all the clips that you want
to include in the left pane of the credits screen.

Ha ha. I'm sorry Saga, but I am having the same problem this person on top is
having and I'm sure with the info you gave her she is no better off than when
she started this thread. You have hybrid the instructions on how to "Add a
title to a clip" with "Credits at the end". See because I went to "Add a
Title to a clip" (Which isn't what I want to do in the first place) and "Add
Credits" is not a option from that point forward. But, I think what you meant
was to select the clip you wanted to use for a Credit graphic in the
timeline, THEN go to the "Tools" drop-down menu. Which I did. However, as
soon as I select "Tools", the clip I have selected to add a Credit to,
deselects itself and I am back at square one. I even tried holding down the
"Ctrl" button and that didn't work either.

Now, if you want to give it another try, I'm listening. But this time,
please keep from combining the instructions on how to do two things, into
one.
