Credible alternatives to Windows Explorer?

Q

Qu0ll

I give up waiting for Microsoft to fix all the problems with sluggish
performance of file operations in Vista using Windows Explorer so I am
looking for a credible alternative.

What are you using that you would recommend? It doesn't matter if it costs
a smallish amount of money - I just want a good, fast file manager with full
Vista integration and support.

Blimey, that looks primitive. Looks like it was developed on Windows 3.1
using Visual Basic.

I would add Directory Opus to the list: http://www.gpsoft.com.au/

It is immensly powerful and configurable, and has a superb feature whereby
just double-clicking on the desktop opens up Directory Opus. I especially
like the way it has two panes (or more) in one window, so you can copy and
move files around without having to mess about opening two Explorer windows.

Of course, some of the other products suggested may have some or all of
these features.
