creating shortcut for Word

I h've microsof works 8. How can i ceate a shortcut to open the Word instead
of going through the Works starting page annd select the Word there? Thanks
 
Make sure you have nothing selected on the Desktop, press the F1 key &
search Windows Help for the term: shortcut.
