Hello,

I want to know if it is possible to set up rules for outgoing emails.
Particularly if sending email to contact A, I want it to be sent via email
address X, contact B via email address Y, etc.

Thanks

Depends on your version, which you conveniently forgot to mention.

It has been years since I used that version but you can check under Rules Wizard (Rules and Alerts perhaps) if you have the option to "check mail after sending" and "perform a custom action." You may have to write some code to get what you want working.

DO you know what code or code I would have to write? I am fairly god at
writing code in Excel and assume its similar, but have never done so in
Outlook. Also, I am thinking of getting a newer version of Office. Would a
newer Outlook be able to do it?

You can check at http://www.outlookcode.com but code written for Excel and other Office programs is very different from code written for Outlook.
