Creating Power Point Slides with Access

Does anyone know if it is possible to create power point
slides with data stored in an Access database? The only
thing I could think of was to make an append query that
places data into a linked Excel table that was embeded
into a power point presentation. It would be cool if
Microsoft would build a module for Access to build ppt
slides, just like you can create data access pages from
within Access.
 
I've never done that much programming with PowerPoint, but I'd think you
should be able to use Automation from Access to created the slides in
PowerPoint.
