Change to the classic GUI, lots of color choices there or change to your hearts content.

www.stardock.com ObjectDesktop - SkinStudio, see skins at www.wincustomize.com.

Matrix;
Try this: Right click blank area of the Desktop/Properties/Themes or
Appearance. Hope this helps.

Hi Matrix,
You can download visual styles from www.themexp.org but for that you must be
running StyleXP (www.tgtsoft.com). Or you can also download the hacked
uxtheme.dll and install it to run the third party Visual styles. Do a search
for the .dll on Google and you will get many links for it.

You are correct.

The links that I gave you will allow you to do what you want, but they are not free. Browse throught the skins at wincustomize, they all took time (lots of it) to make and for you to make a skin that works with XP will require time and learning how to do it.

I've been using WB for 4 years and have looked at the programming in SkinStudio for various skins, so far I have not attempted to create one of my own.

| no no no.. what I was wanting to do is create my own "3D" looking color
| scheme. At the moment, it appears that XP only has 3; blue, silver, and
| olive.
