creating links to Access files via Frontpage

I have created a link to an Access file in Frontpage, however when it is
selected, a "download file to disk" window prompts me to "save file to disk"
or "open from current location" instead of opening the file directly to the
Access application as it would in Word/Excel?

How can i do this?

you can't open a access file like you want - you need MS Access. Or you need to
display your data via ASP/VBscript pages, which involves programming and is a bit
involved if this is not your skill area.
