Creating hyperlinks to protected excel sheets

Is it possible to create a hyperlink in a word doc. to a protected excel
sheet without removal of the protection?
 
Hello Dean-

Creating links (Hyperlinks or OLE links) to an Excel workbook file should be
no problem regardless of Protection. The modification of the workbook file is
determined by its protection status.
