If you used the Insert > Reference > Indexes and Tables > Table of Contents
dialog, the TOC you get will be hyperlinked by default. See http://word.mvps.org/faqs/formatting/TOCSwitches.htm, particularly the
section "Peeking behind the curtain". (Note that this is a fairly old page,
so when it says "Word 2000-specific" it means "Word 2000 and all later
versions".)
If you reinvented the wheel by actually typing a "table of contents"
manually, you can use the Insert > Hyperlink dialog to point to a heading or
a bookmark in the glossary section.
