creating/distributing patches to excel workbooks

I have a workbook that is used by a distributed set of users and
version control has been challenging. Does anyone know of a
process/software to create a patch that users can simply install
(wizard) to update to the new version? Thanks!

I doubt you would find such. I think this is primarily a design issue with
your application. You might look here as a start on basic skills to
creating your own solution
