Creating disk space -- thanks for response--still have question

Now it does not let me delete documents and settings or my documents from D drive. Will try your other suggestion re: 'move' but wonder about doubling up on files. Thanks for your help. Will let you know what happens when I try it. Paul
 
Hi - no need to start a new thread. Try booting into safe mode and see if
you can delete the files you'd copied to the D drive.
 
How do I start in 'Safe Mode'. Assume after that, I should be able to delete Documents and settings file in D drive and then do right click and 'move' from c drive. Thanks, Pau
 
Press F8 when you see the black screen at bootup (after the BIOS screen).
Select Safe Mode. Don't know if this will enable you to do what you want - I
don't see why it shouldn't, as you only COPIED the items, not MOVED them,
from C, right?
