creating different banners for pages

How do I create DIFFERENT banners for different pages? So far, when I add a banner to a page, the rest of them change to? How can I create a different banner for each page?
 
Build banners in an image editing prograpm such as Paint Shop Pro. They
would have to be independent of a theme, I believe.

Yeah, I've been creating the banners in Adobe Illustrator... then I just insert them as a picture where the banner goes on the page... but so far every time I try to insert one, all of the pages change to that one.
 
You have to remove the shared border or place the banner outside of the
shared border area on your pages.
