Creating Calendar

I am trying to create an efficient staff diary.
If the workbook represents the month and the worksheets represent the dates
(sheet 1 = 1st etc) is there a way of automating in, for example, cell A1 the
day, daily date and month.

But why not take advantage off one of the numerous calendar programs around
If you don't want to use the Microsoft one in Outlook there are tons of
others

We use Supercalendar (no advertising intended, it's just the one we use)it's
an on line calendar and allows each ofuse to check from where ether we are
and so far it's doing ok
