Creating birthdaty/anniversary lists

How do I create a contact list or remider list for birthdays or
anniversaries in a given month? Birthdays/anniversaries can be marked on
the contact details but it just creates a reminder based on set
days/hrs/min in advance. Thnx for your help.
 
If you want to create a contact list for Birthdays, why
don't you use the Filter option on the View menu?

I would change the view first by selecting View/Current
View/Events. After that I would select View/Current
View/Customize Current View/Filter/Search for 'Birthday'
