Creating a word template

Hello all,
I need your expertise. I am a novice at Word but need to create a template
for an incident report. I would like to have a document that has lines that
text can be typed into and when reaching the end of the row, the text will
automatically drop to the next line. Is this something that any of you can
help me with? Thanks to all of you in advance for your time and attention.
