creating a template with blank fields that I can just tab to

I'm creating a template with rows and columns with some text already there,
but I need to add blank fill-in fields that I can tab to and fill in the info

Usually what I do when creating my blank form templates, I assign the blank
space with a data name (in your tables say you want to have the blank filled
in with "pet name" create that field as "fill in pet name", presuming you
wish people to supply an answer in it. By doing that you are able to assign
a tab stop and it will create a field spot when you create the form.
