Creating a single column combo box

I am new and need step by step instructions on how to create a single
column combo box. I don't type well and want to create a box that contains
6 or 7 choices to choose from (or that I can type in myself if need be) I'm
going crazy surfing through links and reading threads from people that want
multi-column boxs or want to add to an existing box. I just want a simple
guide in everyday language. Please start from the begining. Thanks please

create a new table in design mode listing your sinle column heading and then
open it in data view and enter your list of items. Then go to your form in
design mode...click on the combo box wizard and follow it telling it to look
for your table..see if that gets you started.
