Creating a hyperlink to a filepath

In our office we use SBS 2003 where we save all files. If one of us saves a
file how can he send the filepath to the others as a "hyperlink" to enable us
to reach the file with a click? I didn't know in which group to post this
question but it is about all files and for both office 2003 and 2007.
 
To insert "filepath" in Word 2007, select INSERT > QUICK PARTS > FIELD
and choose (ALL) for the "Categories" dropdown. You will see FileName as an
option - tick the checkbox to include the path to the file name.

(It's all there in the Word Help).
