creating a dvd from windows movie maker

i have created a 30min movie with a short slide show of photos at the end on
windows movie maker. i want to burn the movie on to a dvd-rw disk but half
way through it says there was an error and the movie could not be saved. i
downloaded mydvd8 to try and burn the movie using this but it gave an error
message while it was encoding the movie. i am out of ideas and really want to
get this on a dvd. could there be something wrong with the timeline of the
movie that is causing the saving to dvd to error, like a gap or something? is
it the slide show at the end that is causing the problem? i was able to get
it to save to a dvd+rw disk without the slide show, but that disk does not
play on my dvd player. now i have added the slideshow and am trying to get it
down on a dvd-rw. any help would be greatly appreciated. thanks

I think you need to use a DVD ripper to convert the files to a format movie
maker can read. I use 1 click DVD ripper to import my clips into movie maker
