created small ad - urgent

I have created a small ad in Powerpoint - text and drawing. I have to send to
magazine who works with MACINTOSH and therefore asks me for JPEG or TIFF
image format (300x300). When I do "save as" it does not save ONLY the ad
(selected) BUT the whole page, so when I open this new file it does not have
the resolution necessary (a JPEG file is only 10kbps?!). Can you help????
Many Thanks in Advance!

1) Goto File => Page Set-up and change the page dimensions to 40 x 30"
2) Ok out of that dialog
3) Click on an item on the slide and then type Ctl+A (select all)
4) Right click (with everything selected and select grouping => Group (will
not be available if you used a placeholder)
5) Stretch the corners of the group to fill the slide
6) Save file as Tiff (it will be big, but should have at least the
resolution you want)

I'd save as PNG then convert to TIFF in some other app if the publisher's
really insistent on TIFF. There'll be no loss of quality from doing that, but
it'll avoid PowerPoint's TIFF export filters, which can be problematic.
