create submenu on context menu in Windows Explorer

In Win2000, I can successfully add widgets to the context menu (rightclick
menu) for specific filetypes in Windows Explorer by using VBScript to make a
few registry settings.

Instead, I would like to collect a number of these menu items and put them
on a submenu of the context menu.

Can this be done? ... by VBScript? If so, what registry settings?
