how are you creating it? In design view or using a wizard?
Make sure the record source you're basing it on has more than one field - if
it's based on a query, and there's only one field in the query, you won't get
more than one.
If the record source has multiple fields, you can always use the toolbox to
put extra text boxes etc on your form or report.
