create nice interface with WPF

Hi people,

i would like try the new capability of WPF included in VisualStudio 2008 to
create Nice (3D effect & more)

but i dont know where to begin ?

di you have any link how teach the begining to use WPF in VisualStudio 2008
With VB language...

BTW, all WPF applications are in XAML format ?
