How can I create a macro to automatically insert something at the end of each
line without having to "do something" to make the macro run?

A few problems here, not least of which is that macros don't do anything
automatically - something has to trigger them.

Also what constitutes a 'line'. There are no 'lines' in a word document,
unless each 'line' is a separate paragraph. The lines you see displayed
between the margins are quite artificial constructions based upon the text
flow, which is affected by a variety of factors.

A better plan would have been to explain what exactly you are trying to
achieve,

the same thought as you. Thanks.
