Hi there,

I know this is a bit off topic, but I need your advice here.

I need to create a CD which autoruns and then displays a menu with
hyperlinks to different PDF documents.

Freeware please?

For notes on creating an autorun.inf file see
http://www.cryer.co.uk/brian/windows/howtocacdtwar.htm. It sounds to me like
creating a simple html page with links to the pdf documents is what you need
and you then need to open that file from your autorun.inf file.

hope this helps,

Brian.

You are well on your way to being an MVP like Carey, lot's of posts,
little on comprehension or expertise!

What part of "Freeware please?" did you not understand?

....
Both have "free" versions, bunkie. If you aren't going to address the
subject of the post, you should:
1. Indicate it's OT or
2. not do it, or
3. Quit acting like an idiot and
4. climb back into your box.

Also, if you have a problem with an MVP, take it up with the right people.
I agree some are dummies, but even for a BS modulator like you, this only
makes you look worse. Go get back up to speed on your meds.

Not Roxio, and Nero is really trialware not free.

And neither will create the menu that the OP asked for.

LOL! MS really doesn't care, so I handle it myself!

Nice link; thanks (though I didn't ask the original question).

One nice feature of that link is a follow-up article on how to test
it without actually burning a CD.
