create a system restore point

When I create a system restore point I 'd like to know exactly what type of
description do I have to give.

Please could give a couple of examples. Thank you.

Windows automatically includes the date and time. Anything else is completely up to you. I like to add the reason I'm making the restore point.

Hi Hash,

The description can be anything you like. The reason for creating the
restore point is a good start.
Examples:
Before installing <new software>
Before installing <new hardware>
Before messing with the registry
Before messing with system setting I am not real sure about
