Create a mouse over pop up window or comment box in PowerPoint

How can I create a mouse over pop up window or comment box in PowerPoint?

I'm creating a flowchart in which I'd like to allow users to click on the
boxes to show a window or comment box with more information. I do not have
FrontPage at work to do this. I think linking the boxes to a seperate
document or slide is sloppy and distracting for the user. Is there anything I
am missing in PP that is close to what I am trying to do?

If you are using 2002/XP and 2003, you probably want to use trigger
animation to do so.
Add a textbox, type in the additional words.
Then, click slide show > Custom animation.
Click add effect > entrance > appear/fade.
Next, right click on the effect and click timing.
Click triggers, select Start effect on click of.
Select the word that you are going to click.

Then, you can add an exit effect (disappear/fade) so that it will fade after
few seconds. (Adjust the delay to about 5 seconds, and set the start to
"After previous"). Similarly, put this effect under a trigger.

Alternately, try the Sonia quicktrick #16 using mouseover:
