Sure. File>New>Distribution List>Select Members

The GAL is a reflection of your Active Directory. You need your AD
administrator(s) to add a DL to the GAL.

Hi Brian
i went to do that, but i got the following error when i went to save that
distribution list.

"The distribution list is too large to save on your network. remove some
members or put some of these names into seperate smaller distribution lists
that can be added to this one"

would you know what the max number of users i could put in a distribution
list is?
its going to be a bit untidy if i have to split it into 3 groups and then
add them back in to 1 distribution list.

Thanks

The number of members you can put in a DL depends on several variables. See
this for ways to address the issue: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/238569
