create a contact with just a company name

If I create a contact for a company, for which I don't have an individual
name should I have the company name in the 'Name' field or just under
'Company Name'?
 
It's your choice. You will, however, want to make sure that File As is set
to the Company Name.

Is it possible to have the 'Company Name' in both the 'Full Name' and the
'Company' fields?
 
Sure. Just type it in both.
