crazy browser help

O

oldfart

does anyone know how to get a new tab to show when you click on a link in a
page and not just open in the same pages tab and have to click on the back
button to get back to where ever yo want , I would like to be able to have
a new tab for every page like in maxthon.
I would use maxthon but some bugs in it that will not let me use some web
sites I need to use and it can't work with my download manager, when it is
fixed I might go back to it, but if I can have this function in this
browser I will stay with this one as it is faster.
Thanks in advanced for any help on this crazy browser
regards
oldfart.

1. Read the help file (check index)

2. Configure the program

Well dadiOH, for your info I did read the help file but I don't think you
read my post propper or I wasn't clear enough, my problem isn't in the
browser opening new tabs for new web pages but opening new tabs within
the same web address ie. if I went to www.whatever and clicked on a link
to go to the next page on their site , it won't open a new tab it will
open the new page in the same tab, and that is not what I want, I would
like a new tab for each page I open on the web, hope this is clear enough
to understand what I would like.
Thanks for the feed back so far but I have read and tried to configure it
but it seems that there isn't quiet enough options to specify my needs,
guess I have been spoilt by the other browser.

oldfart.

I don't think you can configure it to open all clicked links in new tabs
automatically, but all you have to do if you want to open a link in a new
tab is hold the shift key when you click the link; or right click and
choose "Open in new window" - this will actually open a new tab, not a
new instance of Crazy Browser. HTH

Yes, I understood. If you have it configured to open a new tab with a
particular action (I use middle mouse) then that is what it
does/should do. After all, the browser just opens the address given
in the link...it doesn't know or care if that link is within the
current domain.

Does your browser not open a new tab for a "next" page in ALL cases or
just at a specific site? URL?

Actually, you can...by opting to use the middle mouse button

It may be that OP doesn't have a 3 button mouse in which case the
<Shift> click should serve him well. However, I got the idea that it
was only with some links that he was unable to get a new tab.

Thanks for all the help and suggestions but I have found the solution, I
have gone back to an earlier version of Myie2 that I remembered that
worked, it opens a new tab everytime I click on any link anywhere. Seems
like everytime the program is updated/improved it goes backwards, in this
case the old is better than the new IMO, Thanks all.
