I have/had Outlook 2002 on a hard drive that crashed. I was able to have
someone recover most of my info for old drive and install it on my new drive
in a separate file. How do I see if my old Outlook calendar and address are
still there and move them to my new Outlook file?

Look for a file with an extension of "pst" as this is where Outlook stores
all its data when in standalone mode. Depending on your operating system
this file could be hidden. Once located you can use the Outlook File || Open
button to examine the file, use drag and drop to get the items into your new
Outlook file.

I found multiple files with .pst usually saying "archive" but when going into
File Open and clicking on it, it does not appear to pull anything up.

its the ones other than the archive pst that you are looking for, have you
got any of these and can they be opened or do you receive an error.
