Crack screen

Yesterday evening I knocked my Samsung Galaxy S3 off my desk and cracked the screen in the top left corner.
I am yet to be able to get in contaact with TalkTalk to see if the repair would be covered under warranty. Knowing my luck it won't.
So in the mean time I have been looking online and came across THIS and wondered if it is to good to be true.

Take video, photographs, write IMEI and all serials down before even contemplating sending it
