CPU Device Manager

Under Device Manager Processors I have 2 entries of Intel(R) Pentium(R) 4
CPU 2.80GHz.
Should 2 of them be there?

Unless you have a dual cpu motherboard the other one shouldn't be there.
Mine only shows one cpu.

Normal for hyperthreading CPU . . .

You have a P4 with hypertheading enabled. It's normal for 2 processors to
show up in device manager.

You probably have hyperthreading enabled. It makes XP think there are two
processors.

Same here on all four of my P4's. This has to do with hyperthreading.
