For some time now, my laptop run very slow. I noticed that, on the task
manager, the process taking up all the CPU time is the System process, not he
System Idle process... Any ideas how to solve this?

Try opening event viewer, you'll probably find some events/warnings in
the system, click on them and get specific details.
