couple of questions... combine clips and burning to dvd

Hi

The combine clips feature seems a bit hit and miss, sometimes i select two
clips and it works others it doesn't. There doesn't seem to be a pattern
has anyone else come across this. I am using movie maker 2.1

Once i have finished i would like to burn the finished product to DVD for
use on a home DVD player, does Nero Ultra 6 have this facility. 'DVD Movie'
is a burn option in the menu, is this what i need.

On the combining feature... it's like an undo one. You can only combine two
clips that were previously split, and you haven't adjusted the ends by
things like trimming.

Papajohn answered the first question, now you will see that there really is
a pattern to it
As for the 2nd question Nero 6 by itself cannot create a "proper" DVD for
you but if your package came with Nero Vision Express (link should be in the
Nero folder) then that program does author DVD's.
If not there are quite a few good programs available for DVD authoring.
There's a list of some of the more popular ones I have tried personally on
my website in the "DVD Programs" section.
