Counting Cells by Thier Month

I have a Table in Excel that consist of 5 Coloums and 197
Rows. As of yet, only 100 of these rows have data. One of
the coloums contains dates (for the date these work jobs
have arrived). These dates are types into the cell as
dd/mm/yyyy but displayed as dd mmmmm yyyy. We need to be
able to automatically count how many jobs have arrived in
a certain month, can anyone please help as the only
result I can get is "January 1900", which is quite
different from the expected result of "12" for
January, "16" for February etc.?

Hi

If your result says January 1900, you need to change the format of the cell
to number. Then you can see what the answer actually is.
